Castaldo® Jewelry Mold Release Spray CASTALDO® Jewelry Mold Release Spray is pure silicone oil in an aerosol can for use in releasing wax patterns from rubber or metal molds. CASTALDO® Jewelry Mold Release Spray is safe, non-toxic, colorless, odorless,greaseless and long lasting. It contains no CFCs, no VOCs (volatile organic chemicals) and is specially formulated not to damage molds made of natural rubber, such as our White Label®, Gold Label® and No Shrink Pink® jewelry molding rubber. It is completely non-flammable and non-explosive, unlike most other mold release sprays. Each can contains 510 grams / 422 ml. Packed 12 to a carton. Sold in full cartons only. Total net weight 18 lbs. / 8.1 kg.
Castaldo® SuperCera® Aqua Extremely flexible. Excellent for intricate filigree and difficult pieces. Inject at 165°F/74°C. Orange Very flexible and easy flowing with excellent memory and minimal sink. Good all purpose wax; also recommended for pieces with thin areas. Inject at 155°F/68°C. Red An all purpose wax; for a wide variety of pieces. Cools quickly. Medium flexibility. Inject at 165°F/74°C. Gold Hard with very little flexibility. Flows easily. Will hold sharp detail. Almost no shrinkage or sink. Can be carved. Recommended for large patterns with fine detail. Also good for metal molds. Inject at 170°F/76°C. Green Flexible with a slow cooling time. Minimal shrinkage. Very little sink. Excellent for large flat pieces or as a general purpose wax. Inject at 150°F/65°C.
